ADX rolls out AI-driven live market data
ADX becomes the first Middle East exchange to offer AI-driven live market data access via ChatGPT and Claude for real-time investing.

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has launched a service allowing investors to access official live market data through conversational AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude. This makes it the first exchange in the Middle East and North Africa region to offer such a feature.
AI-powered market data access
The new service allows users to retrieve real-time ADX market information using plain-language queries through major AI platforms. The exchange stated this removes the need for specialist terminals, complex APIs, or technical intermediaries.
ADX delivers the data through a governed Model Context Protocol server. This enables secure, on-demand access for AI assistants and automated workflows. Users can configure their AI applications to read official ADX data sources via the standardized protocol.
The service includes four usage plans, from a free tier to AED49.99 ($13.61) per month. Each plan sets limits for usage, refresh frequency, historical data depth, and concurrent connections, though specific details for each tier were not provided.
Data available to retail and institutional users
The integration provides access to official market information, including structured XBRL financial disclosures, index constituents, and reference data. Retail investors can now retrieve complex market intelligence through natural-language questions. Institutional users gain low-latency order book visibility and segmented data flows.
Fintech developers and research firms can use the data to build custom analytics and research tools. Brokers may develop proprietary AI trading assistants to improve engagement with active traders.

Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi, Group CEO of ADX, said the service removes technical barriers that once required specialized setups. “By removing technical barriers that once required a specific setup, everyone now has live access to ADX data through simple prompts,” he stated. “This will contribute to greater market transparency, wider financial participation, and a more accessible investment ecosystem.”
The exchange views this as part of a broader effort to expand access to capital markets and support a technology-driven investment environment. Opening official data to AI applications may change how market information is distributed and consumed, making it easier for investors, institutions, researchers, and innovators to access.
This initiative supports Abu Dhabi’s goal of building an AI-inspired, knowledge-based economy. It also strengthens ADX’s position in the development of the UAE’s capital markets, helping increase financial inclusion and transparency.
The long-term impact on market behavior remains uncertain. While retail investors may find decision-making easier, the speed and volume of AI-driven queries could change how information is processed. For now, the focus remains on accessibility—whether this leads to broader participation or more informed trading will depend on user adoption.
The exchange has not disclosed plans for similar integrations with other AI platforms, though the current offering already covers widely used models in the market. Elsewhere in the region, autonomous boat trials have also demonstrated Abu Dhabi’s commitment to technological advancement.
